Salter's Nutri-Weigh kitchen weighing scale is amazing.
Nutritional Values of Over 1400 Foods
The Nutri-Weigh gives the calorific values of over 1430 foods and
includes their nutritional breakdowns and glycaemic index values.
This is only the first of its excellent features making the Salter
1450 Nutri-Weigh Scale the most advanced digital kitchen scale yet.
Easy to Use Kitchen Scales
Using the Nutri-Weigh scales couldn't be easier. You pop your
food on the weighing scale, then use the keypad like you would to
text and type the food you want. Alternatively, type in the first few letters
and use the up/down keys to scroll through the menu till you find what you
want.
Salter have even added a quick search option on these kitchen
scales. The last 20 foods viewed are automatically stored, so you
can easily scroll through to find the foods you have recently used, instead of having to
type them in again.
If you can't find the food you want and you have the packet with
the calorific and nutritional information per 100g, you can add it
to the scale. There is room for an extra 100 foods, plus you can
enter your own recipes as well.
Nutritional Intake – User 1 and 2 Memory Option!
There are two user memories on the scale. This means if you want
to keep track of what you're eating you just add everything to
either user 1 or user 2 memory. Each user can record their
nutritional intake for the last 7 days, and they can view or reset
this information at any time.
That's not all. You can set target values within the users.
This is ideal if you are on a diet, or need to watch your intake of
items such as fat or sodium.
Good Looking in the Kitchen
With the Nutri-Weigh's sleek, mini laptop design, it will look at
home in any kitchen. Fold it shut and it is small and easy to store
out of the way.
All in all, a very clever kitchen scale indeed.
