The GI Plan vs other GI Diets

 

The GI Plan is different from other low glycaemic index (GI) diets, in that is uses a combination of GI and calories in a particular food, to come up with GI Points (GiP) for that food.

 

In this respect it is similar to following a calorie counted diet but the GI part of the points equation ensures low glycaemic GI foods are favoured, thereby preventing hunger.

Each day you get three meals and three snacks, which sounds great, but you do have to keep within your GiP allowance for the day.
